    The Classic Alfa Romeos
My heater fan has stopped working. It seems like the fan has come away from the motor as the motor is still working in both speeds but no air is being blown around. There is also a spinning sound when the fan is switched on and off. My manual and what Ive found on the web is very limited but...

  5. Importing 105 coupe sills from the UK

    South Africa
Anybody import outer sills for the 105 coupes from the UK recently? I'm interested in what the shipping costs and duties would be. Okay, duties I can estimate but the shipping costs are what I'm more interested in.

If by chance anyone has a 41:10 speedo drive and (both parts) they would like to sell, I'm in need of one please.

  8. What's the history of the different coloured fronts on 105 race cars?

    The Classic Alfa Romeos
I'm guessing it's something to do with the GTA's but is there any particular reason and are the different colour combinations significant?
  9. 105 series later type Radiator & Cowl

    The Classic Alfa Romeos
I've just advertised my spare radiator on Ebay. Doesn't atart until 9.15pm this evening. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302097121384?ssPageName=STRK:MESCX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1557.l2649 Was used for the first three months on my GTA Rep, then I changed it for the slightly earlier type that has the...
  10. Rusty rear seat GTV

    The Classic Alfa Romeos
I have rust corrosion right in the middle of the panel under the rear drivers side seat. The patch (about 10 inch square) is directly under where your bum would be if you sit in the back. I have just spoken to CA and they say they do not fabricate these panels, nor have I seen them anywhere...

  12. Show me your Pedals (105 standing)

    The Classic Alfa Romeos
Mid way through welding a new floor piece and chassis rail, can anyone share how their pedal setup looks? And whether there is a rubber boot that slips over the bottom of the pedals to stop water coming in? Cheers!
  13. Inside boot (trunk for those across the pond) of 105 series 2000GTV

    The Classic Alfa Romeos
A bit of help please. How should the boot floor be finished, ie carpeted or not; I believe not? Mine is, and frankly it would seem pretty naked without a bit of something in there, ie just the top of the tank, a bit of metal floor, and a spare wheel! Am asking as am just about to fit a new fuel...
  14. Rear brake ate calipers and Pistons 105 GTV

    The Classic Alfa Romeos
So, I have just spent two hours unsuccessfully trying to change the pads on my rear disc brakes. The problem is that the new green stuff pads are much thicker than the ones I am taking out and I am unable to get the piston to retract. I released both pins, removed the spring and took the pads...

Took the car last week for the first service I have ever done in my life on my used car. Very nice people, It cost 249 which included sorting one squeaky window and the other one is about to go so I'll be going back soon as it sounds horrendous. I think it may have been Roger (didn't get his...
  16. Is there a knack to using D in DNA - 105 MA

    Alfa MiTo
I've had my little 105 MA for just under a month and slowly but surely I am getting used to driving it (and loving it by the way), though still tend to over rev due to seating position more than anything I think. So I know this is one of the slower models, and I have been fiddling every now and...
  17. A new age 105 would be nice!!

    Motoring Images
With the new line up coming of the Guilia, Stelvio and of course the already acclaimed 4c, it would be nice to see a new age 105. Maybe something like the below.
