Everything you need there mate. You may need the smaller sized hose adapters though.
  2. Water Marks

    Car Detailing
Fit a cartridge inline with your hose. Costs a tenner from ScrewFix.
  3. Machine polishing newbie!

    Car Detailing
Yes. The motor is almost twice as powerful and the lead is twice as long.
  4. Does anyone use Carnauba wax any recommendations

    Car Detailing
Nope. You wax after you seal, doing it the other way round reduces the life of both products.
  5. Does anyone use Carnauba wax any recommendations

    Car Detailing
That's only applicable during the first month of the paint curing.
  6. Water Marks

    Car Detailing
Use filtered water, I do. Removing the limescale stops the water marks.
  7. Thoughts on Collinite

    Car Detailing
It used to be a polish. It was reformulated a few years back and is now full of fillers. It gives better results with less effort and also there's no risk of damaging your clear coat as there's no abrasives. PoorBoys products are excellent and yes, they do smell good enough to eat, probably...

    That'll work fine mate...
  9. The "Today I Bought Some Detailing Supplies" Thread

Cherry Glaze doesn't last long because it's an AIO. You really need to wax over it or at least apply something like P32 or Bouncers Done n Dusted to get a few more weeks/months from it.
  10. The Walking Dead

    Way Off Topic
If they're following the comics it's Glenn.

But it's hardly a fair comparison is it. A bit like comparing a banana to a grape.
  12. Thoughts on Collinite

That's because SRP and 845 are totally different products. One is a wax the other is a glaze. Both are very good at what they do.

  15. Which Glaze?

    Car Detailing
That's a sealant and has no filling abilities. It should be used AFTER a glaze to protect the finish.
  16. Which Glaze?

    Car Detailing
PoorBoys Black Hole would be my suggestion (yes, it works amazingly on red cars). Follow it with a decent wax (I still rate Autoglym HD Wax) and it'll look awesome.
  17. T cut damage to 147 paintwork

    Car Detailing
Sadly T-Cut is the wrong product to use on modern clearcoated paints. The abrasives are very harsh and non-diminishing, meaning they continue to grind into your paint no matter how long you work it. Ideally you want a cutting compound with the correct abrasives and then follow it (refine) with a...
  18. What have you done to your Alfa 147/156/GT today?

    Alfa 147, 156 & GT
And a rotary at that, a dual action polisher won't generate enough heat.
  19. What have you done to your Alfa 147/156/GT today?

    Alfa 147, 156 & GT
The GT is booked into Autolusso for the belts and associated bits to be done. I've also ordered some Mtec grooved & dimpled discs, Mintex pads and dot5.1 brake fluid. Next week is going to be good.
  20. Interior Window cleaning

    Car Detailing
Blue paper towel and Angelwax Vision (be warned, it stinks) followed by Rain X anti fog. That's what I use on my car and customers cars. Works a treat.
