    This looks like it could work out Chris! Middle silencer is basically a performance freeflow one in a stock appearance. Only if I was you, I tried to maintain this 56mm inner diameter of the middle silencer up to the rear muffler.

    I totally agree. Will such solution deliver the fuel flow: maybe yes. Will the atomisation of the fuel be good: not at all It will smoke like a steam locomotive, and using much more IQ/ torque unit.

    I think it might be better to use a mill, since it makes a "flat" bottom surface instead of the cone you get from the drill. Best would be to have the head off and do it on a milling machine so you can have the depth exactly equal on all 4, and parrallel to the mounting surface. On your photo...

    I believe the turbo's are the same except for the rpm sensor. Both GTD1752MVKR units, with billet compressor wheel, 8 full blades, 37.2 inducer, 52 exducer and 53.7 extended tip. I posted the dimensions at TDIclub a few days ago actually. This turbo makes 3100 mbar on the 2143cc engine easily...

    The 2.1 jtdm engine is designed for an output of 210 hp. All lower versions are downtunes with the same hardware (expect for the turbo). This is perfectly possible while keeping the emission standards.

    If it helps; I used even 3mm wt bends for my manifold and had it welded with backing gas. Very important for strength and inner smoothness.

    Hmm.. that spool is a bit slow indeed. In my case, I had a 250 rpm "delay" in boost when I swapped the GTB2056v for the GTB2060v. From 2 bars @ 1600 rpm to 2 bar @ 1850 rpm. However, you swapped to a ballbearing unit that should compensate some (if not all) of the delay the bigger compressor...
