      Just a quick question.
The other day I attempted to use multiECUscan to rest a mates ECU light. The car was a 2004 156 JTS

Despite me using the red cable adaptor as you are supposed to do it wouldn't connect. Instead it said I needed to use a KKL/VAG interface?

I was under the impression that using the correct coloured lead would mean that this wasn't the case?

I have one of these which I was using, which is recommended for use with ECU scan along with the coloured cables.

I have used the program and cables on my Giulietta with no problems, and I also used it to reset the ABS warning light on the aforementioned 156 with no issues.

He managed to get the airbag light to go off in the end by messing with the seat connectors, but I am still annoyed as to why my program didn't connect, so I would like to know what I was doing wrong...
