AOWM " Show n Shine" ?

Would there be any interest once the lighter warmer nights come back, in a " Show n Shine" for fun, at our monthly meets ? Everyone would get a voting slip, choose the best car of the evening, and the winner gets 3pts! The overall winner at the seasons end September will win a nice prize and trophy donated by myself. . .

All you have to do is turn up, and vote for the car you like most on the night!

Thanks
Best Regards Villans.

Seems like an excellent idea to me although judging might be tricky as most the cars I've seen at the fountain in the past are immaculate! Best of luck to the judge and I'll make sure the 159's in tip top condition when she comes.

There is no judge! Everyone gets a voting slip, puts there name on it, chooses the best car in there opinion, and job done simples! ( Cant vote for your own car is only rule)... Nice prize at the end of the season, everyones a winner.

I would bring mine if there was a comp for whoever has the most body filler and welding done

Show and shine from 20 yards I'd have a chance....

yes agree i would say a 15 year old car that`s had the work put into it and has had "a life" should be regarded as a much higher level of dedication to the finished shine than someone who goes out and spends 10k on a model from a garage that`s cosmetically perfect and the driver has done little to the car himself

doubt the judges share my view but to me it means far more if YOU put the effort in

Mine was the best part of 10k from a garage but was far from perfect! 20-30hrs with a machine polisher and it's nearing acceptable, still plenty of chips etc to see too and loads of orange peel to go
