The Patrick Collection (A charitable Trust No. 515566) - Motoring through the Years - is a private collection set within two exhibition halls and houses over 50 classic vehicles covering 100 years of motoring as well as some ongoing restoration projects.
Sadly they have recently sold their SZ.
It is also home to many artefacts from a bygone age and motoring memorabilia many may find fascinating.

There is secure parking for up to 50 cars and room for about 100 people.
On arrival, there will be welcoming refreshments and a short history of the collection by Peter Harper (the man who looks after it all)
You will then be free to explore and photograph as you wish and Peter will be available throughout to answer any questions you may have.

The visit will start at 10:00am and last approximately 2 hours and will cost £3-00 a head (minimum donation) payable on the day.

You will find the Patrick Collection at
Unit1-3 Alexander’s Wharf, Lifford Lane, Kings Norton, Birmingham B30 3DY,
Note: - The Patrick Collection is open by appointment only.

I have secured a group booking for 10:00am on Sunday 22nd July.
We are limited to 50 cars and 100 people so it will have to be on a first come first served basis.
The museum is all on one level and is suitable for all ages, albeit children must be supervised by parent/guardian.
A minimum donation of £3.00 per head is required (pay on the day)
I know it hasn't got all the bells and whistles of the likes of Beaulieu or Gaydon but it is a good private collection.

If the aforementioned Lancia was sold at auction then today I met the guy who's son bought it! We were at a funereal and chatting Alfa's (as you do..) hes an Alfa addict too. We chatted italian cars and he said his son bought a Lancia Integrale from the Patrick collection recently.

Not certain I'll have cleared the hangover from the Friday night by Sunday - that Friday is the last day of term and therefore our biggest night of the year

Apparentley they have the original Jones the Butcher Van used by the BBC for the Dad’s Army TV series, as well as an original Tardis from BBC’s Dr Who TV series
