Been hard at it the last couple of days. Well worth it tho really enjoyed it
All started with a split hose

That is a very impressive job, and what a difference!

How did you get the silver back on to the covers sprayed red. It looks a really tidy job.

sprayed the whole plenum and plug cover then sanded the lettering and lines very very carefully

thats easy, its the same with all diesels all you need is a big can of back to black to make that BIG plastic cover that says JTDM shine

Been trying to clean mine up, took the bottom cover off but not got the bottle to mess with the manifold to be honest... Is it an easy job?

yes mate tbh, i started with just the bottom one then plucked up the courage to do the plenum. there are 2 allen bolts that hold the plenum done and a bolt on and L shape bracket.
Just take your time and be carefull
