KBR and I did it last time round and it was quite music oriented. The main music round thanks to KBR's instant recognition of Kylie's The Locomotion we got 20 out of 20 in!

Music is the only round I can ever contribute to... although I did get full points for "flowers of the world" and a "cryptic clues" rounds (which meant we won the pub quiz - wooo free beer).

If Jess and I aren't completely dead after Wolves Half marathon we might join you, it's an excuse for a really good big feed and some fun.

I'm completely useless in a pub quiz

Seems my internal hard-drive stores information that is never asked so often I am as much use as windscreen wipers on a submarine

Windscreen wipers on a Submarine could be quite useful actually.

They could clear a build up of algae

If we can get two or three teams together that'd be a result. Hope you both can make it. One of the prizes is a meal for four!

give the man a Gold star

Strictly speaking algae struggles to grow in salt water due to the salinity, it prefers freshwater
Also Algae grows more prolifically in stagnant water so if the submarine was moving then the growth of algae would also be dramatically reduced
The only time I can see wipers being of use in a submarine would be if it entered a stagnant pool of freshwater and hit a big algae patch

The fact remains, at a quiz don't ask me about music, film stars, films, A, B, C, D etc list celebrities, how to claim benefits, football, children.

Yup you got it I'm as much use as a See through Mirror

*waits on Evel coming back for another shot*

Ah John , you've obviousley never encountered the fast moving sal****er algae called Submarinwindscreeni. The Navy struggled with it for years on their Uboats until some bright spark mentioned using some sort of wiper to clean the windscreen.

*Whispers* Do submarines actually have windscreens :scrtch:

it's not all about Alfa's you know.

Even I surprise myself with some of the garbage I've filed up top.

Can you get a copy of the quiz questions a couple of days before the quiz so I can establish if i'll be of any help
