Wheel Refurbishment

Hello, just bought a 156 1.8 TS and the wheels have some bubbling and paint missing, can anyone here recommend some good refurb centres in the West Midlands? Or is it worth just buying new wheels?

You could always try and find a set of scabby wheels, like I did. As long as the tread is legal you could use them for a few days. I have some, but the tyres were shot so found friendly tyre centre that will swap them over for a few quid whilst wheels are being done.
You can get wheels 'tarted up' while you wait, but to be honest it only costs a bit more per wheel to get them properly blasted, repaired if necessary and painted

I third the SA wheel refurb, Dave did a cracking job on my 18" Horseshoe alloys on my previous 159.

+1 I've used A1 a few times and they do a great job - plus they can repair wheels that you'd think couldn't be fixed.
