Cry Like A Baby Epic Fail Day!

Today I was enjoying my usual drive to work as theres slightly lett traffic at the moment.

I got about half way there anyway and stopped for this young guy on a zebera crossing (who'd proceeded to walk across anyway)

Shortly after stopping, someone else used me to stop, well that's putting it nicely.
so my pride & joy has been trailered off to be assesed.

the damage lookes quite minimal considering the front of the golf was all over the road, but I've found a ripple in the boot floor, and theres a hole where some VW grille got in under the spare wheel.

So I've ripped out my entire audio system (as you do) due to 2 of my friends having the same experince it not going well for the car

Anyway for the near future I'm driving a 10 plate Megane (if I can get out of bed tomorrow, pains creeping in) But it's nowhere near on par with the 147.. Really hoping I get it back all fixed!

Bad news. Positive side is that you're in one piece and your insurers won't have to cover the costs. Not much else that you can take from it. Finger's crossed they will repair your car.

I got a call yesterday to say my car's going to be repaired, but I didn't have a pen handy and was too relieved to even be bothered to try and remember all the bits lol.

My back's not too good at the moment, but at least it only hurts to move it. Dr says its sprained and should get better with rest. I've not been signed off as yet due to an important course I need to get to on Tuesday (or will fail the whole year) but if that makes things worse, or there's no improvement I've gotta go back to be looked at some more

Glad to here the 147 going to be repaired

Ice packs for the back, use an ice cooler block covered by a cloth once an hour for ten minuets at a time (don't put the ice directly onto the skin)

Good luck for Tuesday
