.MITCAR 2009 will be on SUNDAY 16th AUGUST at the fabulous BURGHLEY HOUSE,nr STAMFORD, only £5 per car and half-price admission to House and Gardens!!!

where do you want it to be, middle of birmingham nice big venue, just off the A1, pretty good really

It is for the Midlands . Its always for the Midlands , Thats why its called MITCAR (Midlands Italian Car )


The Midlands does extend beyond the Central Region

I am aware of the geography of the area I live in. All meets and events are at least 30 miles from me, that is what i was referring to

monthly meet is 35 + each way for me, nad was 170 + each way

mitcar was around 45 miles for me, so what i would call local. would have still gone if it was 145 miles , maybe not 245 though
things are worth travelling to, or not. depends how much you want to do
but hang on for next year, mitcar is bound to be at the south end of the region

190 mile round trip for me, 232 miles for Smallville.

Worth every mile.

Any advance on 232?

Its not that I dont enjoy the drives to these events, i do! I wouldnt own an Alfa if I didnt.

My moan is null and void now anyway because I found out about the Italian car day at the heritage centre in gaydon on Sep 6th.........its 3 miles from my house!!!! WOOO HOOOOOOOO

Btw, I would just like to add that it was a fantastic day and so glad I came in the end. Didn't deside until 11pm Saturday night

I have to say i enjoyed looking at the range of cars there, i came with a mate who has a focus st, my 166 is still in bits.....
I would like to say 'well done' to the organisers for their hard work.
I had never been there before and had a look around the house which i thought was excellent.
