Are Chelsea fans allowed to take the mickey out of City for being bankrolled?

Why does Phil Brown do a half decent job and gets the sack within a week of new chairmanship, yet Steve Kean still remains in his job

If he doesnt get the sack before the new year i am going to assassinate him, then we will have to find a new manager

If you had Mourinho tomorrow you'd still be going down.

definitely - on both counts

the manager may not be up to snuff.......but the club is a basketcase right now

having said that - it could be Darlington

To be fair, he does take a lot of crap which should be aimed at the owners so its not all his fault. He is doing his job, he's just not very good at it

Was reading my dad's Sunday paper tonight (it was just there while I was cooking) and was a bit shocked that Rovers are really pushing their credit limit with Barclays (how ironic?) demanding a 10m payment against their overdraft and Venky's refusing to pay any money in. Worrying, Gaz.

Probably stalling on that Jim because they will sell half the squad in January so they dont have to put any of their own money in

Why they cant be forced out like Hicks and Gillett were from Liverpool i'll never know but i'd love to see it

Chancers eh?

H&G took quite a while to be forced out IIRC and they still expected someone else to just chuck a shed load of dosh at them for the privilege (?) of taking LFC off their hands Your comedians seem somewhat similar but with even less cash to begin with.

I remember my dad telling me how much better it was when he was younger .....but his dad thought it was far better in his day.

I'm grateful to have seen Best, Charlton, Law and the 60's team as a kid but I admit I wish I'd seen Duncan Edwards play live. It's amazing to hear people around here still talk about him in such an almost awestruck way it makes your neck hairs stand on end and you never saw him yourself, so you never really know. Even the old footage isn't so good so we'll never know unless we trust the old stories. I think I want to do that....

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

I can almost accept it as a valid comment coming from a United fan but it seems a bit rich (badoom tsh) from the fan of a club bankrolled in exactly the same way but a bit sooner.

ok

i wasn't a bad touch, in the day....but I have a question...

i had a handy toe poke....people took the ****, but it was useful....and I scored more than a few goals.... not just stabbing it in....but also causing movement, dip/swerve, with power (talking 5-a-side on full court, goals from half way kick off). Bobby did it.

where do you stand with the poke?

It has its place. Our boy Aguero scored a cracker the other week. Surround by players he managed a toe poke through a sea of legs into the goal. Whether he meant it or not matters not because they all count.
