Fiat Bentone

Fancy the X1/9, even in that condition.

The worrying thing is I have been looking at X1/9s and Alfettas too!

Not 2CVs though

I'd love a Lotus Sunbeam. I wanted one so much it hurt when they were new! Coming from Imps and not being a Ford man there was a certain logic at the time.

The Alfetta looks honest and reasonable.

Is there a decent X1/9 still alive? They look ropey even in photos!

Renaults and 2CVs???? Are you missing your medication again SIF or has your carer been off on strike (the swine!)?

Loving this thread BTW! Very much my kind of trawl through ebay without the hassle!

HPE looks sooo much better than it's described.

Fulvia, nice but looks tired for that money. Sickens me that I talked myself out of a Zagato about 10 years ago that looked mint for about 3k!

Saab, nice but looks well pricey for barely 20 years old and with nearly 200k on the clock.

Integrale *drools* MrsJim thinks I'm daft about these. She doesn't understand cars as much as she thinks.

It is horribly appealing in some strange way, I agree.

Can't see MrsJim approving but I'd quite like that without the red base. It can go in my lottery garage and man cave space that I craft every lotto draw only to have it dashed by the damned balls.

Member car:

Toyota

That Kappa Coupe was bid to 1590 last time. It's on my watchlist.

That's an amazing mileage. The reviews on Wikipedia don't seem so bad after reading in CAR back in the day that the 166 was delayed as the handling was deemed not good enough.

Good job SiF on picking some stuff with long MoTs. The corrosion advisory for that Alfetta has me doubting.

HPEs are beautiful. Possibly the nicest car I've ever driven.

K - I'm touched, thank you! Bloomin' expensive for an Imp though! Maybe not for me after all!

That Vette is gorgeous. Want! Even though I'd feel an utter knob driving it!

Boy! You have expensive tastes!

Sierra estate surely massively optimistic at 4k?

Oh my! I want that 49 GMC pick up! You are turning me bit by bit. Lisa could happily run something like that - she loves US pick ups.

I might find room in my fantasy garage for the RR but not keen on the colour.

Sublime to ridiculous?

The TR 2.5PI looks brilliant but I'd stay well clear ot the rest! Keithyboy what are you thinking mate? I expect better of you pal or is it a problem dealing in classic euro metal?

I always fancied a rear end Coventry Climax . With the arse swinging out sideways - suit me Sir!
