WOT: New Netbook – Which Programs Should I Remove?

Netbook is a Samsung N210 Plus with Windows 7 Starter. It has loads of preinstalled software. Which ones are safe to remove?

This was the only way I could think of showing the full program list...

Bonbon quest and cakemania may not be essential apllications.

I see you haven't got iParmo installed, surely essential?

Why do you want to delete stuff Ros? Short of space already?

I'd ditch all the rubbish games for a start.

Just so there's not as many programs running in the background.

I'd format it and start from scratch personally, but then I'm used to self-builds.

In Win XP you click start > run and type in msconfig

You can then un-check programs you do not want kicking in at start up.

(no experience of Win 7 sorry, might be worth googling)

The games can stay if you want as they won't be running in the background. Personally I would ditch:

Google Toolbar
AnyPC Client (unlikely to want to access your netbook remotely?)
Skype (unless you use it for VOIP calls - horrible program in my experience)
Live Essentials (unless you use MSN messenger)

Having just bought a Samsung netbook and tidied it up...
Uninstall all applications by Oberon. (Alice Greenfingers etc)
They are all games, but only trials, so after about an hour of play they tell you that you need to buy them.
If you haven't bought MS Office or have a licence for it, then uninstall it. I put OpenOffice on instead.
I've also installed malwarebytes & AVG to keep it clean.
