eBay game

I know it needs a catchier title.

We have

Mk1 Escort more door 1300L. Tidy original car.
MGB GT. 112 miles, barn find. Someone bought it, realised his error, and hid it away. Complete and not rotten.
Maser 3200GT. Automatic, looks quite tidy, 88k, lots of history.
MG Montego. In white, which is by far and away the worst colour. 70k.
Alfa 147GTA. Japanese import, 38k, selespeed. Whizzy exhaust and filter.

I suspect that GTA is up at an astonishing price, and that therefore the Maser might well be the cheapest car there.

Wrong on both counts. The most expensive car might surprise you, the least expensive not so much.

The MG Montego will be the cheapest. What is the best colour for one by the way, is there an answer other than beige?

MGB

There are only 35 left. For under 125k you could remove them from the planet forever.

I’ll go Maser then GTA for the gap in the middle.

From the top
1. Mk1 Escort 15,500. For a 4-door Id say this was optimistic
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Esco...AAAOSw~yRcxyp7
2. MGB GT-13,950. To be fair it is the Jubilee edition but imagine how much money youd have tied up in it once restored.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MGB-GT-Ju...8AAOSw35pcnPjq
3. Maserati 3200 GT - 12,950
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Maserati-...MAAOSwg~9cW18J
4. Alfa 147 GTA 12,490
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-06-A...4AAOSwqUBczbnB
5. MG Montego - 3,495.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1990-MG-A...MAAOSwumRcrOfb

Auto Express - six issues for a quid. Offer must end soon (and then immediately start up again).

I knew the Maser would be astonishingly cheap. My mistakes were in expecting the GTA to be a good 5k more than that because it's a selespeed, and assuming the Montego was included because keithyboy was outraged at how expensive it is. Which is kind of true, but I thought more outraged and more expensive.

Next batch.

Overfinch Rangey. 6.8 manual. 1 of 1. Body-off resto.
Fezza 355 F1 13k miles
RS2000 - beige. Full resto, regarded in RS circles as possibly the best.
Shelby GT350. Hertz car. Auto, resto with some upgrades.
Dodge Charger. Horrible wheels and the blower is apparently on a small block.

Nope. To give you some parameters, the most expensive is 99,950, the cheapest 69,990.

It has gold bullion* with a value of 3,450 in it, plus a FULL tank of petrol.

*Note, this was never used as a getaway car.

I know.

Can I just confirm that the Overfinch isn’t the most expensive?
