I should get the police report today..

Thanks bro.. yeah, i'm still waiting to hear what the police report says. They called me on Wednesday afternoon and asked me to go and fetch it from Jebel Ali Police station, but then when i got there on Thursday morning they did not have it and none of the officers there could not tell me where the report was... Guess it was all that drama with the shift change in the morning... they change shifts at 6am and the morning shift officers didn't rock up till 7am, so the night shift guys were not in a helpful mood..

I will check again tonight on my way home..

I really need to know what happened...

Went to Gargash to check my car. Apparently I already have the later modified fuel line clip (2005 model) which is good news.

Also, what was surprising there is that they now sell the 156 3.2 Ti for 140k!!!! They would not discount below 158k a few months ago which made me go buy a Passat. I hate them now

that is bad to know, stephen, after all the moficiations that went into it.

My car is up for sale, by the way

I got contacted by Gargash about the 159 Ti...apparently i can trade in my GTA, but they will not buy it outright.

Just out of interest, what trade in value did they give you?

They have not got back to me. I shall have to visit them. I suspect it would be around the 45K mark.

They had valued it at 70K in Dec 2010, though it was not a quotation to buy.

The gap is huge between evaluation and what they pay for it!!!
