GT 3.2 V6 manual fuel economy

Hi everyone,

Are there any GT owners here that can tell me what would be the average fuel economy for the GT in both city and highway driving? I'm getting a decent 11 L/100KM on the highway, but a rather mediocre 19L/100KM in the city, driving very moderately.

Any advice on how to get better fuel economy? Maybe a different type of oil or air filter?

better fuel economy on a GT in the UAE? fill up in Abu Dhabi

The numbers I remember is something like Dh100 gets over 400km when commuting to Abu Dhabi, but rarely that far in town... but then the red line is visited regularly regardless of where I'm going, so that may have something to do with it...

I got the car to do about 250 KMs on 50 AED of fuel (highway driving, mostly on 6th gear). That's about 11.6 L/100 KM which is very respectable. The city driving is what kills me the most (between 19-20 L/KM). My commute to work is less than 3 KMs away, but I always make sure to get the engine warmed up before driving.

GT 3.2 - 155 V6

I managed to bring mine down a tiny bit (3.2 V6 manual) after I had the air filter and all spark plugs replaced followed by an injector service. She also has now been fed the Castrol TWS oil 10W60 which is used in BMW M engines (especially the V10 in the M5). I'm now getting around 16-17ish around town (lightly congested conditions) and 11-12 on the highway at about 140km/h. The 3.2 is quite thirsty if I'm honest.

If it may help you, I have a 166 3.0 V6 24v auto, and without being too "enthusiastic" on my speeding I get 14 l per 100 km.
