Fuel rail alfa 156 2.4 10V drill hole for rail pressure sensor

Hello, is it possible to drill the hole in the fuel rail from M12 to M18 to fit an 2000 bar rail pressure sensor? Or will it never stand the pressure?

Standard sensor type in my Alfa 156 2.4 jtd 10V 110KW is an RDS type 2. The 2000 bar sensors are RDS 4 or 4.1 type. Is this a problem? My ecu is a edc15c7.
I am fitting a BMW R70 high pressure pump and BMW GT2260V turbo at the moment.
With my old setup and standard fuel pump and oem turbo I ran 1550 bar with 1800 bar pressure sensor.
I just want to use a 2000 bar sensor cause I can get one cheap. I am not planning to go higher than something around 1700 bar
