Spider Tuning box for Multiair

Any opinions on the new micro tuning box

Micro-box Alfa Romeo MiTo 1.4 TB 1368cc 135ps 206nm

Seen plenty of reviews on the Imode performance kit but not much on this one??.....Has anyone got one

They are likely to work pretty much the same I reckon, considering the theory behind them is the same and they are made by the same people.

Thanks symon my thoughts exactly, i was thinking its the same map without the learning feature.....thats if it is a map, dont really know how they work to be honest

They intercept the signal between the boost sensor and the ECU, and on the Diesels at least they intercept the signal from the fuel pressure rail to the ECU.

By doing that they can trick the ECU into increasing the boost of the fuelling (or both)

Quite crude compared to a remap, but they seem to work ok and as long as you get a good one (Not a cheap ebay special).
