Well Happy After Market Ecu

Hi All

Anyone used one of these Megasquirt MS1-V3 ECU or knows anyone who has. As im thinking about using one as it will be easier to remap it which i guess will happen alot as i add things to the car.If this ecu is not man enough can anyone suggest one that will work.

Thanks in advance

I have one I need to finish soldering.... but it won't be easy if you have to start from scratch creating a map.

As Cuore said it can be quite tricky to set up MS from scratch - or any ECU for that matter.

Be sure you get a module that can handle knock detection as it will save your motor when you start adding those ponies. I think the MS 2 or 3 might have them

Otherwise, I would recommend you use this ECU just to drive extra injectors when your car is in boost and leave the standard ECU with standard injectors in place - that way you still have all the safety and boost and ease of setup
