1.6 twin spark to 3.0 v6 24v conversion

Hi from Greece!
I want to convert my 156 1.6 t.s. facelift to 166 3.0 v6 24v!
What else will i need?? I 've done a little research but I can't find what will fit from the 166 to mine.
The reason I am doing the conversion is because here in Greece it will cost less to convert than to buy one ready!

You need to buy a complete 156 2.5 V6 24v (one with snapped cambelt would be perfect) and also buy a 3.0 24v engine from a 166. Then you will have everything you need.

Well, as Pud said, you will need pretty much everything from the front bumper to the front seats from a 156 V6.
Full engine, gearbox, driveshafts, ECU, radiator, instruments, aircon (?) and front suspension is needed from the donor car.

Its a massive job!

Smile For upgrade facelift 156 1.6 t.s.to 166 3.0 v6 24v

I like your views in monetary terms of view and it is to be in today's time. For this purpose you have to make complete alteration in your vehicle that is from engine to bumpers. It will cost you more, but less than buying of new vehicle.
