Carbon fibre intake runners?

Came across this

HPR Carbon Fiber Intake Runners

Quote:
HPR new product for Alfa Romeo V6 engine intake runner ,

in Dry carbon, 46mm Big size diameter

We Using the High Quality manufacture method by Steel mold.

Our Carbon factory partner using same producing products for airplane engine inlet runner, they also provide the high quality carbon products for Institute of Sciences Taiwan ,

HIGH QUALITY AND NO PROBLEMS WITH HEAT

Total reduce weight 1120g, carbon 96g/pcs Steel pipe 280g/pcs
Temperature
Stainless Intake runners 84c
Carbon runners 65c

Dyno compare carbon vs stock pipe. (315.7-307.2)/315.7 = 2.7% gain by big carbon pipe

Anyone ever done this mod? Even if those gains are true isn't it a shame to remove the sexy standard ones

850 USD for a bit of bling ?? wow!
Sure, if you have a "GTA line" carbon intake pipe, a carbon plenum from ACT (with a Ferrari 360 throttle body) then why not, keep everything carbon.

...Or, you could spend the same money and get a individual throttle body kit from AH Motorsport and a custom ECU and have more throttle response and a engine bay that is the dogs danglies (as they say here)

Where can one get a hold of the Ferrari TB? All I can find is the adapter plate...
