Same here - I think your browser hides some detail

From the item ID in your link I searched and found you are referring to a tuning chip:

If I were you I'd be sceptical to say the least - if it seems too good to be true, it usually is!
Unless I've misunderstood it seems to promise an extra 27PS, an increase of almost 20%. I think you'd be lucky to see such a gain with sports cams and a free-flowing exhaust system, which is obviously much more expensive, so it seems extremely unlikely that this chip will give you the same sort of increase at a fraction of the cost.

As far as I'm aware many of these things simply adjust the fuelling slightly or mess around with the readings of other engine sensors such as the air temp sensor to trick the engine into running within a slightly more aggressive set of parameters. The gain, if any, is usually extremely minimal, like 2-5 HP at most.

This might provide a bit of insight, it's a similar sort of thing:

Long story short - I think you're better off spending the money elsewhere, such as a remap. But you can do your own research and reach your own conclusions, see what you think!

Hope that helps.

Alfa GT Jtdm

Just a small tuning box that taps into the common rail unit.
Been using one myself for about 3 years now - not this particular one of course, but they all do the same thing and work the same way.
You can comfortably go from 150bhp to about 175bhp without any clutch slippage - the key point is to get one that is adjustable. Usually they use a 1 to 10 scale, mine is set on 6.

my 1st intentions was to go back to red dot and get remapped but I don't want a it remapped on the rollers until i have done all that want to do to the car so just thought for just a little extra power I could buy one off these a run it while doing the stuff I want in the process as a remap is around £250 and travel cost so this sounds more cost effective for now
