ECU Update file

I have an EDC16 ECU on my Brera.
Software Number is 1037380710 and ID is 3441
This EPROM version is from 21/03/2006.
I was trying to update my car with the official FIAT online tool,
but unfortunately my software version is not supported for updating to the latest official one, which is:
SW Version 1037507421/1037507422
ID: 3841
Release Date: Feb 2010.
I have found this version online, both a stock version and a tuned, EGR OFF, DPF OFF version. Can I flash this one using MPPS?

Absolutely not!

Your car will not start if you upload that software to your ECU.

Is there any other way to update my ECU since the official tool won't let me?

I think the latest SW for your ECU is 1037507422. So I see no reason why you have problems with upgrading SW with official tool.

But you should not upload that with MPPS because you need complete ECU upgrade, not just partial flash. MPPS only writes one block of the Flash memory. You can brick your ECU if you try to do that kind of update with MPPS or any other tool over OBD.
Upgrade should be done only over official tool if you don't want any problems.
