Hmmm Alfa mito 135 remap - stage 2

Hi, I'm new to this so firstly i apologize if there is another thread on this subject as i'm pretty useless at using the search function.

Basically i have the multi-air 135BHP Mito, with an air filter. A 2.5" stainless exhaust system with sports cat will be fitted within the next few months, and then the intercooler will be getting upgraded. Once that's complete i will be wanting to have a stage 2 re-map done on a rolling road, i was wondering if anyone has had this done, or knows somebody who has and could give me some kind of expected power output?

I have tried google and again... USELESS!

Appreciate any response.

Thanks,
Corey.

Corey, which parts of the exhaust system are you changing?

This is the layout:

Manifold -> Turbo -> Cat -> front section (flexi) -> mid section (v. long!) -> backbox

If your car still has a factory exhaust fitted you will find the mid section and backbox are actually one piece, and need to be cut to get them out unless you want to remove the rear axle.

Which sport cat are you going for?

I'm wanting to go from the turbo back pud, basically I take it to a local garage that make custom exhausts, so I'm not entirely sure what sports cat they use to be honest, im not excellently clued up!

Thanks for the reply.

There's not much wrong with the factory cat, unless you want 225+ horsepower which means changing the turbo anyway.. The problematic bit is the bottom cone on the end of the cat, this is really restrictive but not too difficult to sort. You should take your car to Ned at Autolusso, he has a 2.5" diameter full Wizard exhaust system on the shelf, including a modified cat with a 2.5" bottom cone & flange. This is everything you need, and I can guarantee it will be the highest quality and best looking exhaust system you have ever seen

Not only can they supply and fit but if you so wish they can remap the car at the same time. You can have more power across the board or if you prefer you can just have the extra power in D mode, which might be handy if you have a wife/girlfriend who also drives the car

Looks mint mate, thank-you. I'll definitely need to give these a ring see how close they are/prices etc.

The exhaust looks well... can imagine the twin exit backbox would look smart! Thanks!

Re-mapping is something i'm going to have to do after the exhaust as i'll have to save.. AGAIN. But at least i have somewhere to keep in mind when the time comes, again.. thank-you

No one spotted the cat in the background in the photo of the cat? I thought it was pretty clever myself.

Twin exit looks good on the car, sporty enough to stand out but without drawing too much attention.
