Who has 1650++ bar rail pressure on his ph3 Jtd?

Who has more than 1650bar rail pressure on his phase 3 jtd?
I and 2 friends with ph3 car (147 8v and 156 16v) are struggling to get over 1600.
I reach 1680bar , the 147 has 1630ish and the 156 is stuck at 1580bar.

on the 147 cr pump was replaced by a new r70 bmw one , liftpump with a new stock one , and an aditional fpr was placed. Result about 0..

I know ThijsK reaches 1750 easely on his ph3 8v , but he has ph4 injectors.
Aren't those ph3 inj not the problem? Can they not withstand pressures above 1600bar and flow them directly into the return line?

B'cuz airplanes is white too

Mine is running over 1600bar too. See

Injector back flow really matters. My injectors flowed back 25-52ccm/min before service

but 25-33ccm/min after

Another question is what injection quantity they can't reach that pressure at.

you didn't get to 1750 either did you yanko?

All phase 4 cars do it easely , i thought it was because of the pumps , but i'm wondering if its not just the injectors giving to much backflow at pressures above 1600bar

No, at least not before injector service. Haven't tried it after.

I'll try some 308 injectors tommorow that I have as a spare, to see if rail pressure raises

but i think your vectra is phase 4 with cp1h3r70

i did swap injectors , but with little pressure gain.. those are not the problem.
I did gain quite some power with them

I don't think we have the R70, I'd have to check but why don't you stick in an R70 or R80? I know the old pumps had the second sensor on the rail but Nat has successfully swapped pumps with the old setup on his Saab.

That is both phase 4!
Ph4 has mprop on pump, and early versions have drv on rail.

Ph3 only hAs drv on pump , so isn't a direct swap

Ah, that's quite a bugger. I'm happily able to maintain 1710bar and 1400us with the standard pump and injectors.
