2.2 JTS Remap question

Hi,
Heard some good stuff on here about remap. The car i want is a Spider LE in black but with v6. It doesn't exist so seen a 2.2 JTS that is in my proce range. However I need the cars 'pull' to feel more like my 147 JTD at least so it doesn't feel under powered or gutless. Don't need Porsche performance but just something to make it go like it looks !

I hear ActionMan (member on here) and Angel Remap on have done good jobs ... Does any one have any details on their cost, added BHP, improved acceleration, improved 'pick up and go'

Cheers
John

Have a chat with Gus, he just did my 2.2. Re-map plus exhaust.
It is now how it always should have been.
loads of torque, no hesitations a bit more top end and it sounds like an Alfa should!

Still have hesitancy :(

Hi, I had it remapped - it came with the car purchase price at Monza Sport. Feels zippier but still have a horrible hesitation at bottom end low revs ..

Are the remaps all the same ?

Our remap normally cures this hesitation issue. Perhaps Monza can tweak their map for you to fix this.

You can change the exhaust back boxes which can also cure this issue.

Hi,
Thanks for the response. I will have a word with Monza to see if they can do something further. However i am intrigued to hear about what i need to do to the back boxes ? Is there a recommended box to put on there to fix it ?
Cheers

The Brera S box works as it's a better design than the original.

However, this user has been very clever.

We would always advise to take a car back to the company that mapped it originally.

What you are suggesting would just cost the owner more money.
