diesel decat/cat(not dpf related)

hi guys sorry for another cat thread none of the other threads had the info im after.
currently my car is fully decatted stainless 2.5" from turbo to 2.5"flexi to 2.5" straight through box and tailpipe, all obviously non std.
the mot station ive been going to for a few years is great but straight and when I quizzed him this year (having seen the revised regs 2014)whilst doing other car he sad sorry but no cat no pass.
so with this in mind ive just bought a turborevs 200cell 2.5" cat with intention of getting welded in where possible(may be half way down car due to space)
rang him just to see about if hes bothered where in the line it sits and he said not bothered but asked if its type approved ?had a cold sweat and said theres no markings on it.
so im going to call in on way to work for him to eyeball and see what he says.
I know I could go to another station and probably not bother but id prefer to stay with this guy.
any comments from mot testers on anything related, or just people in the know.
my first thought now may be cutting an id stamp off a scrapyard car and welding onto this turborevs cat? will ask him this als when I see him.

weld a standard cat housing around your current exhaust, making it look like it's present and keep your mouth shut to the tester

ok just back from visit with the tester.
hes happy with the ca but needs to see a type approved number.
he was happy with cutting plate off another cat, but he even said if I were to find out what the type approved number should be and engrave it on the outside hed be happy as its visably fitted and has type approved code.
so who knows what the type approved code should be ? 1.9 2006 euro 4 jtdm if it matters.
picked up this code off another cat pic
CAT104R2
might this be it?
another found is 103R mentioned on jetex website
and another ripped off ebay
Attachment 367362
this should do?
looks like code refers to metallic or ceramic substrate also?
