Remapping my Mito QV

Hi,
I know there are hundreds of remap threads on AO and I think I've probably read everyone of them, the first name that comes up when you mention Alfas and remap is Gus of Alfatune,I contacted Gus but he doesn't really like remapping the twinair engine.
The next person name who comes up is a guy who is on the forum Steve aka SLOWDRIVER but I think he must be Keyser Soze as I can't find any contact details for him other than he works in Essex I PM'd him but his inbox is full and not accepting messages.
I've also read that the Mito QV has hidden torque limiters and a few companies have found these Austec racing being one so they may be worth a go?
I've also heard that Autolusso can just map the car in D mode which sounds perfect to me,has anyone had that done and if so would you recommend it?
Usually remap threads morph into arguments about telling insurance companies,no problem there as I'm old and I will be telling them.
Cheers.

We can do this for you and we can move the torque limits

The best way to do it so you understand what we are doing is for us to do it with you on the computer and show you exactly what we are doing so you can have input in to the modification and make the changes you are looking for

We can change the maps in each of the modes on the DNA

Excellent! I'll call you tomorrow Ned as you told me to book my car in for a follow up from the cambelt service on something you wanted to check.
Cheers

If Gus doesn't want to remap a twin air, there's a reason.

Be warned !

You need some expensive equipment to map these it may not be a case of Gus not wanting to do these it may be a case of not having the correct equipment, we have invested heavily in equipment and training and are able to carry out this work

Obliviously you would have to confirm with Gus I can't speak for him

Oh right I know these multi air engines (twin air my bad) have had their problems hence Gus not wanting to get involved until Alfa have sorted it,but there are quite a few owners on here who have had their multis mapped and have been fine.
I know Autolusso have mapped a few and reading the owners posts are very happy with it.

I think many of the multiair failures have been linked to incorrect maintenance. Wrong oil etc. If you get it mapped just half the servicing intervals and get it done somewhere specialist, where they know the correct oils. I think 18,000 is too much.

Had my mito serviced by autolusso (Bournemouth). Never had any problems.
