Diy fitting a Quaife

Ok so after any help anyone can offer about fitting a Quaife lsd to a 147 Jtdm.

I have a pile of parts (Eibach ARB, uprated clutch, Brembos and Powerflex bushes) all to be fitted and figured if I am going that far then I can whack the bank balance for a Quiafe from Autolusso while I am in there.

My main queries are regarding setting the preload, I have fitted a normal diff before, but is fitting an Lsd any different?

And do I need to buy a full set of shims for this, and if so who sells them apart from Fiat or an Alfa dealer as the only sources for them I can find seem to be in Europe.

Any help is much appreciated.

same procedure as fitting the standard dif... If you don't have much time you can order a set of shims in advance (from AR), however chances are you will just use the ones that came with the existing dif.
