Gus has got my car!!!!

Okay, so i thought id share my experience and of course, my excitement. Im currently sat in a coffee shop in St. Helens, whilst Gus at alfatune has got my beautiful brera 2.4jtdm in for a dpf removal and a remap. Ive only had the car for just over a week and have had 2 dpf\limp mode problems already. very excited waiting for gus to work his magic, trying to catch up on breaking bad and make the most of the free time, but a bit too excited to concentrate. will report back with what the car feels like afterwards :-)

Is it not normally the extra Torque which chews up clutches?

Dual mass flywheel, the expensive part of the clutch.

I remember sitting in there with great excitement and expectation. Just don't have to much caffeine as your going to be excited enough on you drive home as it is.

Enjoy !

Oh Boy - it'll be fun for sure. Forget everything you thought you knew about your car and learn to drive it again

I still remember the smile on my face after Gus fettled my GT 1.9jtdm a few years ago.

Good luck and enjoy the car. Don't listen to Squadrone...he's just gutted he'll never have that sort of power...

If you drive it sensibly you'll be fine.

Okay, so I've just taken her for a run and what a difference, it's actually like a new car...or a new engine at least. Power delivery is smooth and progressive, from low revs and the car just pulls and pulls. If anyone is in any doubt if they should have the work done or not.....please please trust me and do it!!

Massive thanks to Gus and all at alfatune, great job and great results!

Also doesn't sound like a tractor any more, which is always good ;-)

Got one happy brera driver here!!

Having now had chance to sit back and fully digest the miracle that happened today....I actually can't quite believe it. Kind of feels like I'm going to wake up in a minute and it was all some weird dream. The pull the car gives throughout the whole rev range, is actually quite difficult to articulate.... i guess the feeling is like having a [email protected], winning a marathon and the Nobel prize all at the same time.....yes, that good...(sorry, actual best way of describing it)....and taking all this in to account, I've got better mpgs...HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE? E no longer equals MC˛. Gus is the new Einstein.....but I think I'll call him Heisenberg. anyway, think we're out of ketchup...don't worry....I'll go

Told you wouldn't need the caffeine.

It will feel even better when you've got use to it after a bit and it takes you by surprise. Mine still puts a smile on my face.
