Help with seat upgrade and some other bits!

Hello all,

Giving the Alfa some love this week! I have a 2005 156 2.4 20v mjet. I've been using the search function a lot, yet it's either broken, there isn't much info out there or I am totally technologically inept.

I'm looking at upgrading my seats to something like: OMP Strada Seat - Demon Tweeks

The alfa seats look great, but they do not get on with my back at all, feels like I'm being jabbed by a rolling pin in my lower back and I just can't get rid of it no matter the adjustments I make!

I just want to know if I buy the seat what else do I need to fit it? I can't seem to find anything that makes aftermarket seats adjustable :/

My car currently has a long list of things that have been done to it prior to me owning it. I'm wondering whether it would be a good time to change the clutch. I'm running 250bhp at the minute and 450nm. From what I can find in the history this is on the stock clutch. Is this safe? Anything I should do to check?

Would there be any aftermarket clutches that anyone on here could recommend?

Yes they look great but I'm not sure how I can fit them and make them adjustable!

You would need a subframe like this OMP Vehicle Specific Tailored Seat Subframe - Demon Tweeks to fit the seat, would give you tilt and forward-back adjustment but you would lose height.

Would I actually be able to slide the seat using this? how would that work? I was under the impression these bolted in and were static?

Yes you would be able to slide it, it bolts into the existing mounts left when you take the existing seat out and has it's own slide mechanism, and can usually allow a tilt forward, although I doubt you would need this in a 156.

Just noticed that one I linked to is just the basic bolt in jobbie, but you can add slide mechanism if needed, no doubt will be on that site somewhere.
