Help - blanking egr off tomorrow

Hello
I am blanking my egr off on my 1.9 jtdm gt . Now I am confused , I bought the plates today . One oval and one 4 bolt rectangle shape .

I have been researching on here and spoke to my local alfa guy and the info looks like its different .

He told me to put the oval blank In on the right side of the egr then the rectangle one at the front .... Looking on here i see people blank the bottom oval shaped pipe too ?

The rectangular goes between egr and manifold and the oval plate goes on the oval pipe connected to the egr. I think thats the answer youre looking for?

Don't forget you'll need to have it mapped out and have the EGR turned off. Otherwise your car will throw up an MCSF error (after a few starts) and more than likely go into limp mode.

Yes it will throw a light up straight away, he did state hes had it remapped so im assuming its already been ecu deleted but then why wasnt it blanked of when the remap was done?
