156 jtd sport 150 tuning suggestions

I'm new to modding turbo Diesel engines I'm looking for some advice on my 156 jtd 150bhp model 1.9 16v, Wanting more power ideally I'd like to break the 200 bhp barrier,

Any suggestions on power upgrades? I like the idea of a gtb turbo some of you speak about, Is it a direct fit or will it require modding to fit?

I'm quite handy with a spanner having done a couple of engine conversions on french cars I don't mind a tinker, My car rolled at 186bhp 305 IB of torque with a egr blanking plate and a DTUK CRD-T tuning box off an astra cdti 150, Disappointing to be honest a few astra owners claim up to 214 bhp off that setup hard to believe maybe happy rollers,

Tuning box just isn't my thing I'm going down the remap route but I'm not sure how much power the std clutch and gearbox can handle?

Any advice/suggestions appreciated

Adam.

1.9 or 2.4? i
id start with a decat then fmic a nice backbox, millers diesel treatment and then a good remap should be good for 200bhp

should still be ok for around 200bhp but beware you will need a uprated clutch and will go through driveshafts quickly too. well you will if you drive like me lol.
