What mods have people done to their 147's?

O.k, like a dumbass I originally posted this in the tech room.....so....

So, After spending A LOT of money on the car (mechanical mainly)

I've got thinking, I love my car, it's a 1.6ts Lusso and I know in the grand scheme of things, it's not worth loads but...I love it!

Thinking that I'd like to tweak what I've got, maybe a lower, possibly new wheels, induction kit, aux in...stuff like that really.

Basically, I'm intrigued what people have done to theirs?

If you're just looking to make a big noise, chuck a bean-can exhaust on instead. Induction kits without a fuel map to back them up pretty much screw up your mixture, and lead to premature wear.

Tbh after owning the 1.6 for about 7 years the best thing i did was a set of springs and some wheels, its going to get expensive to make any worthwhile power gains so it would make sense to spend it on cosmetics

Or just get nitros.

Deep breath....
Ok 1.6 isn't going to have the torque of the 2.0.
Ok now that's out the way, get yourself a pair of cams from a 2.0, who like you're there, grab the inlet manifold with the throttle body attached. Find a cf2 and steal its down pipes (weld in the lambda probes) and it's decatted. Throw a remap at it and with the shorter gearing of the 1.6, you'll annoy the hell out of a big standard 2.0 from the lights!
Don't bother with an induction kit.
