156 2.5 mods help

Hi guys i am new to the Alfa world and like to now what are the common mods to do on the 2.5 24v that can make the car a bit better right now i am looking to fit a Link g4 stand alone ecu that i have laying in my garage any tips will be great

3.0 or GTA intake runners, and possibly GTA cams.

Furthermore, catless exhaust manifolds (PH2, depends on the age of your car if it has catless manifolds or not) and equal length secondary runners (wizrdofoz or others)

don't forget larger injectors (3.0 or 3.2 would be great)

Tanks for the help mate when you say catless exhaust manifolds what you mean my car i a 98 model if it helps

you already got them then so can scratch it off the list... luckily too, they're hard to install

Then lucky me will i need the rubber pipes to whit the gta intake runners or they will fit in to the 2.5 one in diameter

you'll need the rubber rings, the tubes AND the plates to mount the tubes to the head.

can the existing plates be ported to mach or the gta one are totally different ?

no reason they can't be, but if you need to pay someone to do it you might better look for a complete set...

But i think the 1st ting to do is fitting a set of gta inlet cams then the runners to see some improvement or leave the stock 2,5 ones to keep the velocity and fitting a gta plenum has any one try this

the most hp gain is from the intake runners. 20 bhp in combination with a remap.
