If anyone should have.....

..... a garrett turbo suitable for my 147 JTDm Ti 150 kicking around..... could you drop me an email please? betanut'at'talk21.com

I discovered, when I changed the inlet pipe/ sleeve to the turbo, that something has been through the front of the turbo and I ain't happy about it - see the attached picture. I'm even less happy that there was not a single connection to the airbox or turbo that was tight. I guess that's what happens when the only place it's been worked on previously is an Alfa dealer that employs monkeys.

My turbo has no noticeable play, rock solid, and since changing the inlet pipe/sleeve cleaning out the airbox and cleaning off the MAF it's running better than I can recall. But it concerns me that there is damage to the turbo when there just should not be.

Plan is to keep the car and tweak it a bit, but I think that a remap on an otherwise largely standard system will do me without 'she who must be obeyed' getting her knickers in a twist about my car tweaking budget.....

Aye, I have a fair idea what it was too now I've had the whole inlet assembly apart.

I'd consider it as a worthwhile plan Website doesn't seem to exist though
