Yep - search is your friend. If my memory serves me well an Alfatune remap would give you around 220-230bhp....and a much(!) smoother power delivery. It will transform your car...

really only 220 - 230 bhp ???.........

A good tuning box, and I mean a really, weally, weally, good tuning box, will give you at least 250-260'ish bhp.

If not, walk away, it's must be crap.....

Wow !

Please provide links to this tuning box, cause that's amazing and I cant wait to see the dyno. 80-90 Bhp increase just from a tuning box out standing ! ( does my sarcasm come across in the written word ?, I never can tell )

If that's true there will be a lot of one armed one testicle Alfa owners out there.

Here's a bit of info I found with a quick search...

https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-...ml#post5213662

AHM state about 225bhp for a remap with DPF&EGR delete. (AHM remap is the Alfatune remap as they do a lot of development work together).

I think, that the gtb1549 will not last for long, if taking it to 225hp..

actually, I believe that it cant even make that kind of power

I have had that turbo on my hands, and its really small, and wheels are not very large

200HP is realistic number with DPF, and around 210HP with DPF off. And that is about it...

I wonder what happened to the EGT torque limiter map if much more than 200+ hp is programmed. Probably raised to 1000 C or deleted?

I've got the 2.0 170bhp engine on my Brera with the DPF removed and Alfatune remap. Gus says he can get 228bhp out of it.

I asked for mine to be kept a little under at 220 as my insurance company didn't like insuring it with an increase of more than 30%.

How did you find the remap, was it noticeably livelier after? Any issues with it since?
