Help ECU connection probs?

Hi all

I have recently bought and downloaded all the software to do my own diagnostics and I've bought a VAG KKL 409.1 16 pin to USB cable as well as a 16 pin to 3 pin adapter for my 145.

When I plug my GTV in, it connects and Im able to clear all the faults on my ECU without any problems but if I want to connect to my 145 it's a totally different story.
When I go into the interface tab and search for interfaces, it delivers no results at all. It just says: suitable interface not found! Meaning that there is no connection to the ECU whatsoever.

I wonder why it won't pick up on my 145 ? It doesn't work on any of the 3 Diag ports but I'm lost for ideas now. I've changed my port settings as best as I can and still no results.

I'm using multiecuscan version 1.5 and I've tried version 1.4 too

Any ideas?

VVL sit infront of this thing through all the gears my bru... Lol
