3.0 V6 no power?

Hi, I have gtv 3.0 cf1. I installed gta inlet cams,, act plenum and pipercross induction kit, without remap (next week). It seems that gtv dont have power, it goes like prelude 2.2 Do you think that it hasnt power because of no remap? Thank you.

Is the cam timing correct? I believe that can make a real difference. Gtas need special cam locks to be set up so I guess if you use GTA cams you would need those

Yes timing is correct. I believe that remap will help

Your ECU is it normal OEM or aftermarket / already remapped? My OEM 156 2.5 ECU managed to keep up with putting in a 3.0 L engine in, intake upgrades and Exhaust upgrades / removal of Cats. The motor is close to many 3.2L on the dyno... I have not changed cams yet... So I don not know if that will be decider... That I will need a remap too

How about making some airflow logs using FES/MES?

Do you still have exhaust gas recirculation or is it removed?

Cam timing might be the culprit, but also, try to refit the standard air box / filter, i believe some induction kits can really kill the power on these cars. Apparently the best to go for is BMC CDA or just drop in a better filter in the standard airbox.
