2.2 jts tuning box

So ive just upgraded to a 159 from my 2.5 v6 156 and well its much smoother power but not as enjoyable as obviously low end torque is down ect so im looking to get a little more from my 2.2 jts engine.. I'm in New Zealand and a re map is insane money here so i was looking at the tuning boxes on ebay and has anyone used them on the petrol engines and how well do they work
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chip-Tuning-...item2a2922ea01

other things im planning is to ditch the two rear mufflers for straight pipes at the rear and according to most the 159 came out with a straight through center muffler so no need to change that. is there need to a down step restrictor in the piping to keep back pressure?

and i guess upgrade the intake in due time aswell, so basically considering im looking to do minimal mods will this tuning box do any good?

thanks in advance

A very expensive resistor. Avoid.

Also the fact that the 159 is so heavy doesn't help
