mito cat options

hey

just wanting to know what options are availible for sports cat / de cat for the mito cloverleaf

not interested in the ragazzon as you need the system

i think tmc do a decat with resistors to stop engine light which is handy

but just want to know if there is anything else out there aswell

i know theres also the custom route

thanks

On the Mitos we've fitted hybrid turbos to we modify the existing cat to make it more free-flowing. Its designed to be restrictive so it makes the cat get hotter quicker, removing the need to have an expensive cat & smaller pre-cat solution like most other cars have. We remove the restrictive part of the design but keep the existing cat in place, and then build the rest of the exhaust system in 2.5". For 190bhp+ you need to do something about the cat & exhaust system.

cheers for reply pud, isnt the cloverleaf already 2.5" diameter?

long shot but do you have the modded cats avalible or do you just adjust the one on car?
if so is it just the exit that is widened as i might be able to get local exhaust place i use

or is it a matter of knocking insides of cat out which i dnt really wana do

I don't think the cloverleaf is already 2.5". Probably 2.25". The 155 model is just 2 inch!

Its not quite as simple as widening the exit, we change the rear cone and flange completely, so it exits at 2.5". I think the original exit is either 41mm or 44mm from memory.

Top end powerband dont feel so restriktiv and the car just pull much better overall. The sound from the exhaust is pretty loud ( G-tech GT560-cup gt exhaust system) and a lot poping when you lift of the gas definitely recommend it if you are going to remap the car.

Does the TMC motorsport 200 cell cat fit to a stock exhaust?
