How Tunable?

I am picking up my Alfa tomorrow and this is my first Alfa so please excuse my naivety. I have bought a 2002 Alfa Romeo 2.4 JTD 156 Turismo. In all honesty I am looking to buy a classic Subaru Impreza WRX in the summer but after driving the Alfa and realising it has rather a lot of torque for a car that is much better on fuel and newer, I have been drawn to them..

My question is how tunable are they? I understand it is roughly 150bhp and 305nm of torque but what am I able to do to it to increase this without doing anything internal? I love the acceleration in cars, not bothered about top speed..

Thanks

Answer is, very tunable! Assuming it's all running well, a decent remap will take it to over 190bhp

Thanks, can anyone suggest any good remappers in the South area? Don't mind travelling but what is the average cost? Also is there anymore mods I should do before getting it remapped that will work well together?

red dot are in enfield, had a remap day there late last year with good results - need to call them for price.

puds leggy old 2.4 made 200bhp on the rollers, it turned out it was remapped when brand new by red dot, still on the original turbo after 175k, so a testament to a decent map which hasn't overboosted the turbo to destruction despite the era of turbos not lasting the life of the engine.
