Fmic

Ok so am planning on a Fmic kit this year before I go in for a rr remap, was just wondering looking at the plumbing etc for the kits available, would it be detrimental to leave the existing Smic in place and plumb that in too or would it affect airflow etc.
Am running a 147 JtdM fully decatted and with K&N.

Not many use 2 intercoolers due to pressure drop plus will it drop temps much more than a fmic anyway.
Heres the biggest fmic thread i can remember seeing most pics in for you.

Did you get round to fitting a fmic? I was toying with this idea also but not sure if its worth it for the gains.

Would this be any use?

Or would these two do the trick?

BTW whats the max length you can have on a facelift 147.

Haven't done it yet due to work (or lack of it really) but was going to order one of JS-Tuning's kits JS-Tuning.nl, but loads of people make there own kits up, lots of info here https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/tunin...r-upgrade.html and here https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/tunin...-jtdm-16v.html about sizes that will fit etc.

I did toy with the idea of doing it from kits like that but having seen and spoken to people who have done it, they have usually spent the cost of the kit by the time they get it to fit, plus as you say my car is used every day, so don't really want it off the road for longer than needed.
But cree if you do it post it up, always like to see other peoples projects.
