Scorpion exhaust for GT 3.2 V6

I've just been having a read of the other threads about the Scorpion exhuast for the GT 3.2, sounds very nice. If I want to improve performance a little and the sound but don't want to go for the full system (budget reasons as cambelt is due) I presume I will have to buy a cat back? Thanks in advance

...or should I go for this? Have had a Novitec exhaust back box on a previous Alfa and was very impressed

The only part of the Scorpion GTA exhaust I have fitted is the one bit you don't want - the decat.
All I can say is that it is very well made and it was delivered very quickly. I was in discussion with them as to whether it would fit my current system and they were very helpful.

Have you done a video of your car? I'd be interested in seeing what it sounds like. Are you using CF3 (cat) manifolds and downpipes or CF2 (tubular) set-up?

I've only just got it all back together since changing the alternator - I still haven't driven it on the road as a 3.0! - It's been over a year since I took the 2.5 out

I've got the CF3 catted manifolds and downpipes, Scorpion GTA decat, 2.4 JTD centre and SuperSprint twin exit back box.
I haven't taken any videos of it, but it does sound nice. It's not too loud as the SuperSprint does silence it a lot, but it is quite raspy, especially at higher revs. Nice bassy tone at low revs and idle too.

have you looked at the supersport exhausts, they're meant to be brilliant

Actually Dan, just found this video of when it was a 2.5 with the same set up.
Bit of a windy day and the first time I'd ever let anyone else drive my car so the driver was being somewhat careful.
Not a particularly good video in any respect to be honest - it doesn't really give a very good representation of the exhaust sound.
