Gotta love the sound of that, those straight-cut gears make a lovely whine and no saying has ever been more appropriate than "rifle-bolt gear changes" - it sounds like you can almot hear the bullets pinging off!

Brilliant innovation

I agree with you on this one, this is a brilliant step for classics but would be nice to see in 75's and 116 series Alfas.

However, was it just me or can anyone else hear the slight split second hesitation after each gearchange?

I don't doubt the technical brilliance, and I'm not remotely stuffy/cloth tap - and actually I see how the 105 would actually br a brilliant weapon, and this is very directly relevant to the track heritage of the..............

Jerico, GForce are not even sequentials and would need mad modification of the gear tunnel to get them in..but they're also just as expensive.. you have'nt even sorted out the custom bellhousing yet...

Take look at companies like Pfitzner in Australia and see what a gear set costs...

p.s. I asked around for a Hollinger RD6 S and that was in the region of Aussie$ 20,000 second hand one off them Bathurst V8 Holdens and Fords, or .... wait for it....Aussie$ 30,000 new....

That is very little for a low demand (and therefore low quantity) gearbox, let alone a sequential.

It seems to be farting a lot....

Very nice, very clever, very expensive price tag (relative or not), just not sure it is quite "right"....maybe that says more about me than the part.
