Intercooler upgrade

Hi guys

Just looking at a further stage upgrade and looking at a new intercooler for my mito QV. Already having an induction kit, full exhaust system and a remap.

What i need to know is, are they normaly worth it? and would i need to have a remap to get full effects? im not entirely sure about how it improves performance, other then it lowers air temp?

intercooler looks to be just under 400 quid, that doesnt include fitting..

many thanks

si

Any 1 had any good results with a new intercooler then?

I know the one im looking at is a fair bit bigger, as there is a fair bit of space for it under the bonnet.

You would need a new map with the IC and generally intercoolers are always a good investment, if you get one that rated at decent power you normally only need to upgrade once and they always leave you the option with putting a bigger turbo on the car
