Help Carb set up

Hi

Can anybody help please

I am rebuilding a quad set of DRLA 45 for a rover V8 3.9l and need some advice please on correct float valve selection.

Would anybody be able to tell me what size float needle valve I should be using to ensure the engine does not lean out under heavy loads but also prevents the set up from running too rich at idle?

At the moment I have on order as set of 4 225,s on order, but on checking different forums what I should be fitting is very unclear

Will this size be OK ,or should I aim for a smaller size such as the 170 to ensure the carbs do not flood

(Note fuel pressure is set via a Filter King and is set at 2.5 psi)

Any help greatfull recieved

Many thanks

Best and kindest regards Al
