Railpressure Control - what happens here??

I did a log today in order to try and perfect my remap. Now something funny came up in the logs. Try looking at the log below. Now it is clear the railpressure is hunting behind, quite badly from 2300 rpm and up. If we look at the duty cycle of the regulator, it looks "ok" for the pump specs and the fuel quantity - but what does'n look right is the current. It is at ~2400mA at 52% - that is expected and normal - but then what happens as the DC hits 72%, current falls down to 764mA, and then it rises again to ~1400mA. I'm pretty sure the drop in current is what makes it hunt for pressure. But why does it make that drop in current? Is there a way to remedy it in the remap?

Pump is brand new R75.. it should be able to deliver 1600bar at 2500 rpm..

Any inputs are welcome.
