Injector 120mjet 8v fitted on JTD 8v?

Hello,

I have fitted a GTB2056V from 159 2.4 mjet 210 cv on a 1.9 jtd 8v.

Now I would to change injector.

Can I mount the injector of 120mjet 8v?

the code is 0445 110 276, I read that they are small different from the one of jtd 115 (0445110 119)....

What problem could I have?

Thanks

I think they would fit. They have slightly different spraying angle (142 vs. 144), which definitely doesn't make them any worse. Athough I'm not sure if they will bring any benefit over the 8V 119 ones. According to the duration maps they seem to have smaller nozzle.

You have to try them yourself (do not forget to copy the 120mjet duration maps). May be they have much stronger return spring, so real injection duration is actually shorter than on 8V JTD.

Yan.ko is right... there is no benefit... it is actually a downgrade in terms of fuel flow capability...

I tried them a few days ago ...
the car has a lot more acceleration under 2000rpm ....

I picked them because they work to 1600 bar rail pressure .... the 119 can also work to more than 1500 bar?

however I have noticed a decline in smoking .... my injection times are much longer than the original ....

I had read that the 276 had a bigger sprayer, am I wrong?

I run 119's injectors on 1650bar now withou problem. Moreover I'm planning to run them on 1750bar high after fuel pump upgrade.

how did you reach 1650 bar?

the original sensor reads more than 1500 bar?
What have you changed the map? Only rail request, limiter and single-bit value?
Also Linearization rail map?

thank you ....

My injectors are 0 445 110 159 and I run near 2000 bar through them without issues.

Stock one on my 8V Alfa 156 1.9JTD is upto 1500bar. I upgraded it to 1800bar one from the 16V. I'm quite curious about bosch no of the 2000bar one.

carisiogolf that is impossible. Stock fuel pressure sensor in punto 130HP measures up to 1800bar...

2000 bar, is possible the one of 159/brera 2.4 mjet?

I can take the sensor from any Mjet 150?
what is the n.ro of 1800 bar pressure sensor?

after changing the sensor must also adapt some maps?

Thanks Yan.co.

@TribesMan
my punto is the 1.9 80cv jtd, I thinj that my sensor is the same of JTD 115, and for that it measure up to 1500 bar...

All JTDm engines (1.9 120HP, 130HP, 150HP and 2.4 186, 200 and 210HP) use the same fuel pressure sensor that can measure up to 1800bar.

There is no 2000bar fuel pressure in JTDm...

Maybe you can find one in 2.0 or 1.6 JTDm-2

The latest Bosch common rail systems run upto 2400bar, so there must be sensors available upto that range.

Sure there are such, but Bosch numbers are not freely available. If you would look under the hood for the Bosch no. of your rail pressure sensor, that would be fine.

Unfortunately I'm not sure about the Bosch no. of the 16V sensor now. But be careful - 8V (at least Alfa) have two rail types - older with DRS in the middle of the rail (with M12 thread), and newer with DRS on the side (with M15 thread). 16V DRS fit only the newer rail type. I'm pretty sure I had written about it (including Bosch no.) somewhere around here.

Regarding DRS change I had to changed DRS linearisation map, slope, plausibility thresholds (singlevalue and 3D maps [rpm vs current]) in the ECU.

Can you help me set up the map with the new sensor 1800bar?

addresses that I have found over the two individual values are these:

074FB2 -> Rail Sensor Linearization
075018 ->??

are the right ones?
I attach the file of my ECU.
thanks

74FDA - RDS voltage linearisation
74FA4 - RDS ramp slope
74FA2 - RDS default value
74F9E - RDS source LOW
74F9C - RDS source HIGH
74FF0 - RDS fuel qty threshold for plausibility test
74FF2 - RDS engine speed threshold for plausibility test
75016 - RDS max rail pressure for plausibility test (rpm vs. DRV current)

Btw would you specify factory details of your car a bit more? year, power, engine code?

I briefly checked Punto 1.9JTD details in ESITronic and there is 1800bar sensor listed, although you really have 1500bar unit as proven by ECU data.

yep, also check and align voltage values (if needed). Factor should be 4,887586 (or so )

Btw. these are the maps related to the rail pressure sensor. There are also others related to the rail pressure control that have to be changed (including few single values) as well.

@Yan.co

it's possible that my sensor map linearization is at 074FBA (pressure) and 074FAA (voltage)?
